Relevant Information about me

I am Ayi Onikoyi born in Lagos, Nigeria and raised in Amstelveen, the Netherlands as 1.5 generation immigrant. What makes me unique is my bold & yet calm personality. I know 7 languages EN, NL, YO, ES, 漢語拼音, DE & FR and worked/studied mainly in international business environments. Currently a master student at the University of Groningen (RUG) Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) studying Innovation Management. Ever since the beginning of my study, I have a passion for incremental, radical and improvement innovation which focus on generating solutions and change regarding sustainability and economic development. These solutions are mainly problem-based which are driven by social circumstances, a new law, (disruptive) technological, human needs and business growth. 

My Aspiration

A first-generation student and a specialist in Innovation Management with acquired skills for creating moonshot ideas. These ideas that may possibly contribute to positive economic growth in emerging and advanced countries. I am inspired by my grandparents’ philanthropy, which drives me to improve the world around us. For example, my proven track record in CSR, including digital processes and communication-specialist show my commitment to change. I have collaborated with companies in the renewable energy, telecommunications, consulting services, data security, and research and development sectors to enact changes. In addition to my ambition, the following hobbies help me achieve my full potential. My hobbies include writing blogs, creating digital art, reading emotional quotient books, preparing detox drinks, and keeping fit. On the other hand, I work in acquiring a growth mindset to strengthen my weaknesses. As of last, a reliable personal assessment test (Clifton Strengths), shows that I am a strategic and futuristic thinker, individualistic and focused person. I leverage previous explained strengths to develop an innovation consultancy in NL and a digital hub in Nigeria. Steer towards potentially contributing to positive economic growth in both mentioned countries.
